REVIEWS
"Thank you for such a high quality product. I have been using the Floor Recording Mic (formerly TM-125HP) for recording theater shows and I have certainly noticed the improvement in captured sound quality. With the mic's low profile, it has a great advantage over my shot-gun mics especially for placement." -- Cliff Broussard, Sundial Video

"I used the Floor Recording Mics today to record show choirs for 8 hours... worked flawlessly! Even brought the soloist down front, turned up the gain a little and there was no need for a solo mic." -- Greg Stevens, ElementPro.com

"Thank you for producing such amazing microphones! The Floor Recording Mics are as good as any large diaphram cardioid. They kill the echoey sound that you get with freestanding cardioids and produce far more even coverage of downstage and upstage dialog. I am so pleased that my recordings have moved up a level." -- Jon Hull, audio engineer

"Bartlett Microphones are the best sound that we’ve ever heard from our live performances. The Floor Recording Mics caught the full resonance of our voices from at least 10 feet away, and allowed us the freedom to move and be fully expressive throughout our performance. Our stylistic range is very wide, so we need microphones that are flexible enough to capture folk, pop, and classical in the same concert. The Bartlett floor mics delivered 100% of the time, and provided us with valuable, high-quality recordings." -- Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble (www.quince-ensemble.com)

"The quality was incredible, the live performance using the Floor Recording Mics is clear as can be, capturing the acoustics of the space while minimizing noise and allowing our live sound to really speak." -- The Color Field Ensemble (www.colorfieldensemble.com)

FLOOR RECORDING MIC   ($249)   (formerly TM-125HP)

No mic stands or hanging mics allowed? No problem! The Floor Recording Mic is ideal for situations where the mics must be invisible, but the sound quality must be excellent.

This high-fidelity, inconspicuous floor microphone includes a detachable 15-foot cable with a standard XLR connector.

Perfect for recording choirs, opera, plays and musicals, solo recitals, and small classical-music ensembles. Optimized for high-fidelity recording or broadcasting of music. It also works great as an ambience mic for in-ear monitors. Note: Use the Floor Recording Mic for recording. Use the TM-125 or TM-125C for P.A.

Floor Recording Mic benefits:

  • Low noise (14 dBA).
  • Wide, smooth frequency response (50Hz - 20kHz) provides a beautiful, natural sound quality .
  • Cardioid pattern reduces pickup of room acoustics for a clearer sound.
  • Boundary miking prevents phase cancellations due to floor reflections, so speech and music sound natural without the coloration of comb filtering.
  • A pair of these mics can record accurate stereo.
  • Made of rugged heavy-gauge steel to withstand abuse.
  • Made in USA.
