THE FIDDLE MIC   $179

The Fiddle Mic is a professional quality, miniature condenser mic for fiddle (violin) and viola. It requires 12-48V phantom power which most mixers provide. It attaches easily to your instrument, and accurately conveys its beautiful timbre to your audience.

The Fiddle Mic also can plug directly into an acoustic amp with a phantom-powered XLR mic input, such as a Fishman Loudbox 100, AER Compact 60, Schertler Unico, or Acoustic Image Coda/Ten2.

The mic includes a permanently attached 10-foot cable with an XLR connector. If you need a detachable cable, see the Fiddle Mic J.

Features:

  • Wide, smooth frequency response provides a natural sound -- better than a pickup
  • Tone quality is specially voiced for close-miking a fiddle, giving a warm, smooth sound
  • Soft housing will not scratch your instrument
  • Compared to a stand-mounted mic, the Fiddle Mic offers less clutter on stage, provides more consistent volume and tone, and allows freedom of movement. No heavy mic stands to carry!
  • High sensitivity and low-impedance balanced output provide a strong, hum-free signal
  • Permanently attached 10-foot cable with XLR connector
  • Included soft foam mount does not affect your instrument's sound
  • Made in USA
  • 2-year warranty
  • Money-back guarantee
