Amazon.com link to "Recording Music On Location" "I have recommended 'Practical Recording Techniques' on this forum before, and will do so again. I have used it numerous times in teaching audio, as it very much lives up to its name, being oriented toward getting you going, rather than having you bone up on theory first. The mic technique section is especially good." -- Erik Christensen, rec.audio.pro "I agree with Erik 100%. This book offers a practical explanation of mic techniques and backs up the expanations with theory." -- Jim Bickerstaff, rec.audio.pro |
